Penny Lane now offers fine art printing service for artists seeking reproductions of their original art! Self-publishing doesn’t have to be expensive, we have the facility and the resources to offer a high quality product at a very low price. We’ve opened our services to the public so any artist can order professional prints of their artwork. Penny Lane Printing Services offers the same great quality found in our print line.

How does this work, exactly? In a nutshell…You ship your artwork (originals or digital files) to our facility. We scan it on our high-grade flatbed scanner and create printed reproductions on heavy paper. You get a great product at a fantastic price!

We have an 18x24” flat bed scanner on site. As long as the artwork can lie flat on the surface we can generate an incredible scan. Artwork on canvas, paper or wood is acceptable. Mixed media imagery with thickness and dimension casts a shadow and creates a muddy scan. Metallic and shiny surfaces create a glare and therefore do not scan well. We do not accept artwork larger than 24x36”.

Placing your order is easy. Print out an order form from our website, fill it out and include it in the shipment with your original art or digital file. Be sure to include a separate order form for each piece of artwork. In addition to the order form, please attach artist name, title and value to each piece.

We accept original artwork or digital files. If you have scanned or photographed your work we will be happy to print from your digital files (we do not accept transparencies). The only alteration we offer on digital files is the option of a white border. Please be sure any digital files appear exactly as you would like to have them printed (300 resolution JPG, TIF or PSD format please). Supplying your own files does not affect the pricing structure.

We ask that all original pieces of art be removed from frames or mats prior to shipping.

Each print will include a copy line with the artist’s name, title, and year printed. In addition, each copy line will include the job code assigned to your specific piece of art and the following publisher information: Printed by Penny Lane Printing Services 1-800-273-5263 This copy line will not be visible when the print is framed.

No scanning fees! No set-up fees! Please allow 2-4 weeks for us to prepare your prints. We always do our best to fill each order as soon as possible, often well before the 2-4 week time frame. Rush services are available for an additional fee. We offer short run printing on sizes up to 12”x18”. See size information below for more details.

If you would like to order larger sizes, we offer giclee prints in size 16×20 and larger. We do not require a minimum order for the larger sizes listed below. If you don’t see the size you’re looking for, please contact us for a quote.

Our paper is semi-gloss, Candesce 100 lb. stock. We do not offer any other options at this time. The finished product is a single-sided print, double-sided printing is not currently available. We proudly use archival safe materials rated in the top tier for lightfast qualities. This means, if properly cared for, your prints will last for 100+ years. As with any print or original piece of artwork it is strongly recommended to keep them out of direct sunlight.

To keep prices as affordable as possible we do not offer proofs prior to printing, instead we will email a .jpg once the file is prepared. We strive to go above and beyond to produce the very best product possible. This service is marketed to artists looking for a great product at a fantastic price. We will come as close as possible to matching your original before printing. If your chief concern is precisely matching reproductions to the original we might not be the printer for you.

Unless otherwise noted, all artwork is printed with a full bleed (in its entirety without the addition of any type of border). Any critical imagery, signatures, etc. should be kept away from the very edge of the painting to ensure it will not be covered by the lip of the frame if you choose to frame your prints. Standard frame lips cover up to .25” of the edge of a print, so we suggest artists give a little breathing room along the outer edge of their paintings to allow for this overlap. On the order form you will find an option to add a white border, if you choose to add a border to your prints the bleed is not a concern. The addition of borders will make the image smaller, final print size includes all borders.

Artwork cannot be reproduced without written permission from the artist. If you are not the original artist written permission must be obtained before ordering reproductions. By submitting artwork to be reproduced you agree to hold Penny Lane Printing Services harmless from and against all costs, claims and liabilities arising from any claims that the artwork or reproductions infringe upon the copyrights of a third party.

We keep all printed artwork on file. If you need to re-order prints in the future we offer a quick and easy turn around. Penny Lane guarantees all artwork is used exclusively for your reproductions and is not to be used for any unauthorized purpose. Discs containing your high-resolution digital files are available for $75 per image.

We require a 50% non-refundable deposit when you place your order with the balance due before the order ships. When we receive your order form(s) and artwork a sales associate will call to confirm the order and discuss payment information. We accept MasterCard, Visa, Discover, cashier checks or money orders. Customers are responsible for all shipping and handling charges.

Due to the nature of the service we must insist all sales are final. If an error is made on our part we will gladly correct the problem and reprint your order. Errors must be brought to our attention within 3 days of receiving your prints.

Original artwork will be handled with the utmost care while in our facility. Our standard shipping is FedEx Ground with an automatic insurance rate of $100 per package. When shipping originals back to you we are happy to add additional insurance coverage. If you wish to insure your originals at a higher value please note it on your order form and we will bill you for the additional insurance (approximately $0.65 per $100). Originals will be shipped back to you once the order is completed.

We accept artwork with a maximum insurance value of $1000.

If your print product is damaged in transit please keep all packaging and contact us within 3 days to discuss a replacement order.
